That's right, we're taking on two teams at once just to keep the games interesting! Only 2 players from Rocklin 5th showed up this morning. Several guys from the Lincoln 1st ward, who were anxious to play since their 8am opponents never showed, decided to fill in for the MIA Rck 5th players. Despite having the best talent from both wards, they were no match for the mighty Rocklin 4th Ward Warriors!
The game started friendly and light-hearted, but quickly steamed up as our team pulled out some amazing passes and shots one after another. Both teams were evenly match through the first quarter, but by the end of the 1st half, Rocklin 4th was up by 12 points: 35-23. The other team lost their best player at the half and things started to get really fun. With both teams fighting to keep up the momentum, fouls were flying and so were some people!
