Rocklin 4th vs. Rocklin 2nd

I guess there aren't many early-risers in the Rocklin 2nd Ward because none of them showed up for the 8:00AM game. We, Rocklin 4th, on the other hand, had 8 wide-eyed and perky players ready to go. Way to represent! We're so good we played ourselves and still won! Ha! Take that!

Mike graciously showed us some moves he picked up while playing in Zion at the Lord's School and slam-dunked the ball over our puny frames. Thanks, Mike! We all must look like ants from way up there... Being the professional videographer that I am, I conveniently ran out of film and missed the entire shot in all its awesomeness (yes, I've fired myself). So Mike will have to show us all again at the next game against Lincoln 1st Ward on February 2nd at (you guessed it) 8:00AM! Come see the action LIVE!

Rocklin 4th vs. Loomis 2nd

Highlights from today's game. Players: Scott, Dave, James, Brandon, Chris, Cody, Bro. Mitchell

This was a fun and friendly game. Both teams started with only 4 players with others trailing in as the game went on. Cody was bouncing around all over the place, stealing the ball every 5 seconds, with twice the energy of everyone else combined! Scott was laying on the lay-ups in between the sweet assists to Dave who camped on the 3-point line, popping shots like they were Doritos - "you can't eat just one!" By halftime, we were up by a whopping 20 points. Rocklin 4th had 7 players so James kindly joined the Loomis' team to help even the numbers. I hate to say we slaughtered them but you can see for yourself:
